I have a hdvr2 and i used the bake software to put in the 6.2a but my problem is it is still asking for a dial up before i can use the recoreder. and i dont have a phone line, I that tthat 6.2a would eleminate this .:mad:thanks in advance

It wouldn't. You need to hook it up to a phone make a test call. Take it to a friend/relative's house. You don't need a dish and it only needs to be done once.
