Hi all, I can't see any recent posts for this so I wonder if someone can help please?
My previous Freeview STB (Sagem ITD64) appears to be failing so I'm looking for a replacement. What are the current recommendations which

are readily available
automatically turns on after a power failure
you can disable scanning for new channels (or it does it silently)
obviously Tivo has the codes to control
You can change from TV to radio and back by channel number only
generally just works well with Tivo and is decent quality

I've had a look at Garys list but unfortunately that doesn't tell me the situation for the above points.

I did manage to find another ITD64 at a Comet today however that doesn't appear to work so I'm not keen to try to find a good one in what is probably a bad batch.

Many thanks in anticipation.

I've bought two Logik DSTB1000s, for about £15 each, from a well known auction site over the last year for two Tivos to use and they've been great. They do everything that you wish but do check that your particular TiVo's IR database does allow for the Logik brand as not all of them do. We live in an area with frequent power losses and the box always switches on afterwards.

Thanks for the link, I did actually spot that yesterday but it didn't help very much. I think the only box readily available which was reported as a possibility was the Philips from Tesco (the frequently mentioned Technika is now discontinued).
Having said which it probably does make sense to keep this topic in a single thread so I'll transfer my question over there. Maybe the chap with the Philips will be subscribed and answer my qn.
Thanks,
Jed
