Hooking up Direct TV & Tivo without an RF jack

The RF jack on the back of the TV broke and I cannot locate the peice, due to moving to a new location. Direct TV installed service and used the coax cables,but he wasn't sure how to include the TIVO. How do I connect, so that I can use my tivo & direct tv receiver?

Connect A/V from the TiVo to your TV.

so, how do I hook them all back up again?
the Tivo, Direct TV Receiver and the Tivo.

AV output from DirecTV receiver to AV input on TiVo. Then the AV outputs on the TiVo to the TV inputs. Then the TiVo can control the receiver in order to record its channels. If you have the TiVo manual, check the section on connections.

The DirecTV receiver is not a DVR is it?

Ok, i followed those instructions. NOw I get a msg that states "searching for signal on satellite in" i went to tivo messages,but could not find anything specific.... help...

the direct tv receiver power light is on.
Outlet from wall is going directly into "satalitte in" section of direct tv reciver and then there is another cable going from the Direct TV Receiver "output to tv" to "RF IN" on Tivo- plus the following
AV output from DirecTV receiver to AV input on TiVo. Then the AV outputs on the TiVo to the TV inputs.

still getting error msg as stated earlier

That sounds correct from your description. However, it sounds like your satellite dish is not connected to your Directv receiver.
