What the heck was up with that magician? Did he really think he could pass off his slip-up as part of the trick? I mean really, come on.

Yeah - that was a worse coverup than Watergate!!
Bad, bad, bad.

No guys... It was part of the illusion.
Even before it got screwed up you could see the fabric moving on the right side of the assistant. The magician in the back was pointing it out on the screen.
That whole contraption looked crappy, although he probably paid a few grand for it. The fake torso portion that gets pulled out looked painted on.

I used to dabble in amateur magic and there's nothing about that performance that was even remotely "part of the illusion".
It was proof that no matter how much you spend, there's no substitute for practice and skill!

Did *anybody's* guide data get updated properly? At least in the SF Bay Area, the freaking show aired 9-11pm, though the guide data said 8-10pm.. there was a rerun of Celebrity Family Feud at 8pm, which was scheduled for 10pm.
so I only got half of the show. So the show apparently isn't streamed? hulu and nbc.com apparently only have 'clips'.

DirecTV, HR20 - mine recorded just fine.
Oh, crap! Did I just say that? Can I still be a TC Club Member? ;)

My finally watched it last night and made a good observation. They only had about 30 minutes of new footage for the 2 hours. Lots of the same footage shown OVER and OVER and OVER again. Heck, and lots of that footage was from that episode.
I guess they are trying really hard to stretch it out.

That magic trick was awful.
Nice lie about it, dumbass.
It was funny that he looked so mad that he got the boot.
My girlfriend was mad that they didn't show the dancers dancing.
I was kind of mad too, there's a lot of hotties.
I'm rooting for the autistic singer kid, although I know he doesn't have a chance.
I'd be very surprised if the enormous opera singing guy doesn't win.

I'd be extremely surprised if he did!
Paul Potts (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Potts) was the winner of the original Britain's Got Talent - a mobile phone-selling obese opera singer - too similar!

I don't think it matters to anyone outside of Internet discussion forums who won overseas. :p
IMO he's got way more talent than any of the other singers.
There's no chance one of the impersonators win.
Just my 38 cents.
