Transfers fail or are interrupted

Hey,
I am having a problem with two of my computers either having incomplete files transferred or getting transfers interrupted. I am transferring TIVO files to my laptop (Vista) Tivo Desktop 2.6.2 and desktop (XP) Tivodesktop 2.5.1 and getting the same results and I cannot figure out the problem. I can see all files (either from the Tivo or from the PCs), but when I try and transfer from Tivo to PC the file will transfer in less than 30 seconds with a file that has one second of video, or the transfer will be interrupted. I have tried disabling all firewall and antivirus and it doesn't seem to have any effect.

What else can I try to fix this problem? Is it that I have two different versions on the computers? I tried installing the 2.5.1 on the Vista machine but the update certificate was not working and I want to be able to transfer files back and forth.

UPDATE: tried transferring from PC tivo file (XP machine) to the TIVO with no problem.

Update: I think I found the problem. I will double check later tonight on the vista computer, but it looks like disabling the firewall was not the problem. There was a parental control part of the secure software (only for websites browsing) but is seems to disable something else with the tivo software.

I've been trying to transfer a 1 hour (2GB) SD file from my TiVo HD to my PC. It's done all of 686MB in 16 hours! Will spike up to 2mbps and then drop down to .5mbps or sit at zero for awhile. Did almost nothing overnight but the transfer rate has picked up this morning. No recording or downloading is going on to the TiVo.
I'm on TiVo 9.4 and Desktop 2.6.2.

I'm having the same problem. Only on some shows that I try to transfer but the same show every time I try.

I removed 2.6.2 last night and re-installed 2.5 desktop. I selected 9 shows to transfer, I just checked this morning and they are sll there in their, the full file.
