I have a couple of Humax series 2 DVD recorders. The downstairs unit has developed a 'habit' of not switching to the correct channel, so the entry in the program listing will say that Mad Men was recorded from AMC, but when played back it is a completely different channel and program.
I can't see anything consistent in the way it screws up, and it doesn't always happen.
Any offers where to look, or what to do?
Cheers

Are you using a cable box, and if yes are you using IR blasters? Sounds like maybe your box is missing channel changes so it thinks it's recording show A but the channel never changed so it recorded show B.

That sounds EXACTLY like the problem. And yes, should have mention the cable box with two blasters....

So if you haven't already, double-check to make sure your IR blasters are aligned properly, and maybe build an IR tent around them to make sure your TiVo is getting the signal.

I'd appreciate any input on how to do that! Both of them!
