This show is hilarious no matter which week or contestants. just plain out funny, laughter.
props to the big PHAT girl that finished the first course.
love to see the braggerts like the break dancer dude lose with his over confidence.
big balls=big laughs, LOL
I thought I'd tire of it quickly but I still laugh my ass off every episode. The editing showing comments and reaction shots are so funny!

I love this show! The big balls event ALWAYS has me laughing! My wife thinks the show is stupid and shakes her head as I am cracking up over the people flying off the big balls or getting punched in the face by the sucker punch wall!

At the start when some people run down the ramp and slip in the water.
< comentary > Err, that's not an obstacle. </commentary>
Always funny.
As for the *big balls*, I was thinking that no one would ever get through that.
Finally, a couple of people got through that.
Now waiting for someone to get through the punch wall.
ETA: looks like someone made it last night.
AFAIK last night was the 2nd time someone has passed the punching wall.

The only one I can remember getting through the big balls was the "never been kissed" Alaskan girl. I was impressed!

It's starting to get slightly old to me.. I still can't believe that this show is in the top 10 (I think #2?) of the weekly ratings, even in the doldrums of the summer.. Where the heck is the Mole in the ratings???

Wipeout is always funny.
The John's do good work, Jill Wagner is smoking hot.
The big balls are always funny, and it's always funny when someone gets punched in the junk on the sucker punch wall.
I also think that the minor changes each week keep it fresh.

Someone walked across the big balls this week, too. "Never Been Kissed" hopped one ball at a time; a fast swimmer might have been just as well-off falling off the first ball and swimming past the obstacle. This guy just walked over the top of the balls in about five seconds.

"Video game playing geek" made it too. They used the Mario jumping sound effect for that bit, iirc.
I think my favorite obstacle is the Spikes of Doom!

If those balls are wet/muddy or you are, you might as well just dive into the water.
That spinner thing is just brutal and is where everyone get's into trouble. I really think you are better off taking even a minute or two and getting your breath before making a futile attempt.
Same thing goes for the travelator on American Gladiators.

My wife will watch it with me, but she doesn't laugh as much as I do. The guy with the dreadlocks who did the "split" on the big balls had me crying, literally.
I love it when they bounce in between balls.
Oh, and the "I love you, balls" guy made it over them as well.
The funniest part of the show: The Sucker Punch.
I'd like to know how the Sucker Punch wall works. Maybe a Behind the Scenes/Outtakes episode would be cool.

I think I still have ~20 minutes left. What you're saying is not much of a compliment. (The Simpsons' clip show that was not really a clip show was better.. I think it was the Simpsons that did that.)

We're talking about ABC, the king of clip shows. If a clip show had to be done, I thought this was a good way to do it. The hosts were amusing, plus we saw some of Jill's outtakes and a mix of really funny replays. Some behind the scenes clips would've been nice.

I don't know if this was the season finale.
I do know that the episode next week is a repeat.

So I'm not sure where that's at.

According to Wikipedia, there are four new episodes left, and they are new every week through September 2:

Also, ABC officially renewed it for a second season earlier this week.

Hmm, if they're new every week through Sept 2, then it would appear that Tivo has incorrect info for this upcoming Tues.

In the clip show, they showed someone on the Big Balls who fell in between the ball & the hoop that holds it. I had no idea that one could slip in there. If your head went in that gap, and your body slipped down, couldn't that break your neck? Seems incredibly dangerous.

I think lots of the obstacles look dangerous. The Sweeper looks like it has potential to maim too. One guy jumped up and then fell in a weird way that almost doubled him over backwards. It looks like a broken neck or back waiting to happen.

It seems like the folks with long limbs have the best chance at the punching thing.
I wonder if just jumping into the mud as gently as possible is an option so that you're not overly muddy for dealing with the dreaded big balls.
Is time added for obstacles not mastered?

No time is added, but my thought is that you're best off just running as fast as you can through the Sucker Punch, hoping that you make it a few steps and jump towards the platform, since that mud seems pretty thick.

I think they must have some type of rule that prevents people from just blatently jumping in the water/mud as a lot of times it looks like it would just be quicker to do so and avoid the entire obstacle.

Yes.
Since the fire fighting dude had already quit, I figured cditty's recording cut off the same time as mine, which was at the point the fire dancing dude had made it off the spinner. So I figured there would be no confusion.
But speaking of the last person, here is the scenario -
1st person clocks in at over 16 minutes.
2nd person quits.
3rd person quits.
So now it is the final persons time. Why rush?? You have 16 minutes to get to the end. Why not take a minute (or two) and rest before jumping on the spinner. And once there, why not take a minute (or two) to time your jump.
He was in a big hurry for some reason. Didn't make sense to me.
