No. It'll never fly. ;)

If Abrams created this show, I'm sort of disappointed. It'd be a little more "fun" if Carter had created it. There could eventually be some reference to Mulder and Scully, establishing that Fringe is the same "universe" as X-Files.

Oh well...

They're both FOX shows. Maybe one or both X characters might show up on an episode or two?

I dunno. I kind of liked the first episode. Definitely got my interest. Looking forward to seeing more this fall.

I enjoyed the Pilot as well. If they have an overall plan and learned from Alias and Lost, this has the potential to be very good.

I was using sarcasm when saying it'd never fly. I mean, all it is IS a new version of the X-Files, with a few subtle changes to the flavor.

People who were fans of the original will likely eat this up.
