I just finally looked for Amazon shopping feature on my S3, and found it under Swivel Search on my S3. I like it. I haven't bought anything yet, but I think I may buy something on impulse once a while.

I looked for it yesterday and was not able to find it. I thought it was supposed to be under Showcases?

So what are they selling so far? I'm curious if they are selling turn your cell phone into a bug instruction kits for Burn Notice. ;)

swivel search is somethng TiVo is trying to pull more users toward so they get in the habit of using it. Once you add real content other than boradcast TiVo, hen swivel search is the way to look. UNBOX is a start of that but I am not a fan of UNBOX PPV type restrictions and price so it is not much of a pull for me.

However I had to look a few times before I finally found the Amazon buying feature buried on a show page from Swivel Search.

Checked it out under Swivel Search for Burn Notice, and was a bit surprised by the type of products they had for sale, seemed to be more about other movies that the actors were in, rather than products featured on the show. I was kind of hoping to find out what Michael's favorite brand of yogurt was... (I know, only books, dvds, and cds for now).

On the plus side, I did come across a Bruce Campbell book I didn't know existed, and added that to my cart. I'll probably buy it the next time I order something from Amazon so I can combine and get free shipping.

Definitely needs to be a lot less buried for me to use regularly though.

At the end of watching Burn Notice last night there was an ad in the save/delete box that said "Get BURN NOTICE Season 1 DVD. If you click on it it takes you straight to the Amazon screens.

I will call this one stumbling onto it.

When I go into a show in NPL, under Swivel search, go down to "If You Like This...", then the 1st item is "Related products at Amazon". The Daily Show lead me to DVDs and books from the Daily Show and Jon Stewart, as well as other related stuff like Lewis Black, on each item, there is additional link to "Related Products" which you can keep following. I've found products also for Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, Colbert Report (Tek Jansen comic, hehe), Million Dollar Baby, Mad Men, BSG, Reaper, almost every show has something. Only one I didn't find much was Good Eats, only showing 3 seemingly unrelated CD's. I'm impressed how much coverage this is providing.

I haven't seen it yet. I don't think I'll mind them if they are like the other ads that we've seen, with the added ability to click through to buy a product. Most of the time I don't notice what those ads say anyway.

"Fear the Chin"? Now a days it's more like "Fear the Chins". Bruce Campbell rocks!

Perhaps the fact that my wife, who has had a quadruple bypass, a stent, and an angioplasty already is in the hospital again after suffering a minor MI and is undergoing cardiac catheterization today caused me to shift my priorities.

Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way (http://www.amazon.com/Make-Love-Bruce-Campbell-Way/dp/B0013LTEZM/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1217282267&sr=8-2). I've got an autographed copy of "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B Movie Actor" from a reading he did a few years back.
