Stuck on powering up

I did a search and nothing that came up sounded like my problem or was on a modified unit...

My Tivo is TivoHD unit original Hard Drive and never cracked the case open. I do have the official expansion drive attached though. After I got the 9.3a update my Tivo Started to reboot constantly like everybody elses well the other day it froze and started to reboot and got stuck on the powering up screen a few times it went to the "almost there a few more minutes" but then it was just got back to the powering up screen. I've tried unplugging it for a day and plugging it back in, but now it wont even go to the almost there screen. Anybody got any ideas what i can do to kickstart this thing before i go crazy?

Does not sound good.

Just as a test:

1) check the eSATA cable to see that it is firm
2)disconnect the coax cable
3)disconnect the wireleass adaptor (if you have one)

Then try to power it up again.

well i did all that and that got it to the almost there screen again but then it just went back to powering up :(

the kickstart 58 method worked after unhooked the external drive. thanks for every bodies help.
