Mac OS X Tivo Desktop keeps turning off

This has been plaguing my Mac for a while now. Every time the machine restarts, the Tivo Desktop control panel is switched off, and I need to go in and activate it manually. I've tried deleting all the prefs, etc., but it keeps happening.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Check to be sure that you have the following files installed:

/Library/StartupItems/TiVoDesktop/TiVoDesktop
/Library/StartupItems/TiVoDesktop/StartupParameters.plist

Sounds as if your startup item (that handles launching things at startup) has gone missing. A reinstall should fix it.

I've been using 1.9.3 ever since it came out and I've never had the issue of it turning itself off. Dennis is on the right track.
