View Full Version : SVR 2000 stuck in set up mode

Can someone please help me? I have a Sony 2000SVR Tivo box. I am in an RV and do not have a landline phone. I want to use it as a recorder without hooking up to Tivo. According to the manual this is possible.

It is stuck in the setup mode, and I cannot get out of it. Does anyone know a way to get out of it without a phone hookup or internet access?

Once Guided Setup starts it must be completed. I know of no way around it.
