Any body else find that every once in while their TiVo HD will lose sound (not TV, but "TiVo noises") only for them to randomly come back on? Thanks guys

Wrong thread. This is the Comcast/Tivo dvr thread.
Sounds like you have a regular Tivo HD.
Your issue is likely much dicussed in the Series 3/Tivo HD thread.
