If anyone else was watching The Bachelorette last night, what was the deal with that super-long "Wipeout" footage toward the end of the program? First I thought it was a commercial, then possibly a preview, and then I figured some intern probably hit the wrong button. It was like they were airing the show before The Bachelorette even ended! If that was by design, it was one of the worst ideas I've ever seen. I actually thought my DVR screwed up and cut off the rest of my program.

And in case you weren't watching, the "Wipeout" scherade finally ended and the rose ceremony proceeded as normal. Very odd.

I think Deanna made the right decision in getting rid of Graham.

I did notice that it took a particularly long time to fast-forward through that wipeout commercial at the end, but since I was watching at FFx3, the thought didn't really occur to me that it might be anything but an extended promo.

Batchelorette spoiler: I'm glad she got rid of Graham, too.

Can you please spoilerize that for anyone else who doesn't want to know what happened on the show?

Thanks much.

This isn't the first time I've noticed them doing that, and it seems to be a different block of footage each time. Very weird marketing strategy.

And while we're on the subject of ABC screw-ups, was anyone's Bachelorette SD feed especially grainy last night?

Couldn't tell. I was busy focusing on Deanna's assets to notice. This, of course, while my wife was focusing on Jeremy's, Graham's, and everyone else's assets.
