Problems when "stop transfer" locks up Series 3

I transferred a file to my Series 3 from my Series 2. For some reason, it's still showing the circle indicating that it's still transferring but it's been there for days.

When I attempt to "stop transfer" of the video from Series 3, the Tivo locks up and then I have to re-boot. I've tried 4 times now and every time the Series 3 locks up.

Can anyone help me figure out how to get this video deleted from my now playing list?

Some other things to try (if you haven't already):
- Put focus on the file on the Series 3 NPL and use "clear" button to try and stop it (rather than right arrow or select on the show)
- Reboot your Series 2
- Disconnect both Series 2 & Series 3 from your network for a few minutes

i've a problem with transfers also, but mine is that my S3 often freezes when trying to do a transfer. mostly it's when i instruct a second transfer, then it freezes on a blank screen and i have to cut power because remote doesn't work at all.

i haven't had any other freezes (yet!) on my month-old S3.

anyone else have the transfer-only freeze?

My S3 will freeze on some transfers. It seems to be file specific.
