Transfering from a Networked Series 1

I recently dusted off a Series 1 I had (with a bad hard drive). It has a life time subscription. I ordered a new drive and also a network card. Now I use my home network to download scheduling etc.

I am planning on getting a Tivo HD. I was wondering if there was a means to watch a show recorded on my series 1 on the TIVO HD. I know you can do that with a series 2, but is there a way with a series 1 (that is networked)? If so, can I watch a Stand Def. recorded on the Tivo HD on the Series 1?

Not directly from the Series 1 to the Series 2/3.
You would have to transfer to your PC as MPEG2, then serve to the Series 2/3 with TiVo Desktop or other servers.

It should be said though, that getting content from the Series 1 over the network connection is considered extraction, which is a forbidden topic here, at least the specifics of it.
