network problem hr10-250

K so I got a 6.3f image from instant cake and followed the instruction so far no network. I know the USB NIC should work because it works on my DSR7000. It is a belkin. Is there a reason why or how I can find out what the problem is?

I bought a car and did what i was told to get it running but it doesn't seem to work. what should I do?

I followed zipper instructions, obtain 6.3f for hr10-250, create zipper iso and burn to CD, put in my brand new 400 GB and run the script. It ran successful but I am unable to get telnet working. don't have serial cable so not sure what the problem could be. Has any one has success using zipper with 6.3f for HR10-250? At first I think it is my USB NIC but I've also has a hacked DSR7000 which is using a belking. I pulled it out from that hacked DVR and plug this into hr10-250 but no goes. Hopefully this will provide enough info. TIA.
