After a long time of random pixelating on my S3, I finally found a way to force and clear pixelating. This is with a Dec 2006 S3, SA S-Cards, and Oceanic TWC (Hawaii).
To start pixelating: Tune NBC-HD (1008), then ESPN-HD (1222), then back to NBC (1008). Picture is badly pixelated.
To clear pixelating: Tune to HBO-HD (1611), then back to NBC (1008). Picture is perfect.
Extremely repeatable. Extremely annoying.
I had TWC come out to replace my old S-Cards with M-Cards -- but they only did one -- and it's perfect. (Although it won't pick up ESPN-HD -- TWC says bummer for me.) When they came back & replaced the S-Card, no change. *I can repeate this pixelating with the replacement S-Card*.
Any thoughts on how to fix this? Any TiVo engineers want to fly to Honolulu & look at this mysterious problem?
