Trouble Booting HDVR2

I have an HDVR2 that all of a sudden stopped working. It would hang on the black/gray screen just before the Tivo splash screen. Thinking I had a dead hard drive I replaced it with a new zippered drive. No luck. When plugged in, the screen just flickers like a 1972 Zennith with rabbit ears.

Anyone have any ideas? Bad power supply?

sounds silly, but check your connections good again. Flikering sounds like it may be a bad connection.

It may be a power supply. However, let it warm up for a few minutes, then unplug, wait 15 seconds, then plug it back in. This might get it to boot.
