Help needed for setting up Series2 Dual Tuner with DTV

I am trying to set up my new Series2 DT Tivo. I had an old Series2 that was hooked up and worked fine but I've recently upgraded. I do not have anything coming out of the wall since I have DTV. I'm using the guide below. I'm running a audio/video s-video cable from the input on the back of the tv to the out on the back of the tivo. Next i ran an audio cable from the out on the back of the satellite receiver to the in on the Tivo. Then I ran a seperate S-video cable from the back of the satellite receiver (out) to the s-video in on the tivo. I only get sound when I press the tivo remote. No tivo screen or tv picture. I tried step 2 on the guide below bu that killed the satellite signal. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Is it a High Def Sat Receiver? If so, sometimes they do not output video to the S-Vid simultaneous with component or HDMI out. To get S-Vid active for such a set-up you must select 480i resolution on the sat receiver.

Yes the receiver is HD. Is seemed to work okay with my old single tuner unit. I have not changed receivers.

try re-setting the sat receiver with both s-vid and hdmi/component plugged into it. If that does not work, try disconnecting the hdmi/component cable and then re-setting sat receiver. if that works, it means the sat receiver will not output both.

I got it. It was a defective S-video cable causing the problem.
