This tivo is brand new, have only been using it for 4 days now? anyways... now when you turn it to a channel the channel works for about 10 seconds then pauses and no sound... I can still get to the tivo menu and do stuff but the TV doesnt work... change the channel same thing works 10 seconds then pause... this is going through direct analog cable, and has some in the clear QAM channels, no cable cards yet... any idea what is going on?

Did you try and reboot the Tivo? That seems to fix most issues I have with mine. Get used to the process, you'll be doing it a lot.

Have you gone into your audio settings and played with the settings to see if it changes anything? Might give it a try.
I've had my Tivo HD since December and I've only had to reboot it 3 times. So don't think it's something you'll have to do all the time.

Once every one-two months is more then what it should be - NEVER.

That's less often than I used to reboot my TWC SA8300 DVR!:)
