I just signed up my first box for lifetime service a couple days ago... the amount due was charged to my card, I went to add a second box and now it says I am not allowed to activate any new boxes because my account is past due?! I never had tivo before, why does it think my brand new account is past due when I was already charged the $399 for the lifetime service on the first box?

Why not just call Tivo? They are the only ones that are going to be able to help you here.

They told me they have no idea why it's saying that because the bill is showing paid... but manually activated it over the phone...

That is strange. Atleast they were able to manually activate it for you. Probably a glitch in their system.
