Using S-Video and HDMI at the same time

I have an HR20 DirecTV DVR that I use in my bedroom (for HD). It feeds a small standard def TV in my bedroom via S-Video. I can watch an HD show in 1080i in the bedroom and watch it in 480i in the bathroom at the same time because the HR20 knows to down convert all video on that port.

Will the HD TiVo do this without manually switching the resolution for both outputs? I realize this may sound crazy, but we have gotten used to using one DVR for both TVs with the ability to watch HD programming scaled down for the SD TV automatically.

I believe it puts out simultaneously on all ports.

It works, but, you can't simultaneously get the correct aspect ratio on 4:3 and 16:9 sets.
