More than a full day gone and still no thread for the last show? Quite the revelation there, at the end. Grown up Dylan is not the same little girl that used to live there. They pretty much said so right from the start, except that many thought her memory loss was due to some traumatic episode from the past -- like mommy killing daddy. Well, not that we know daddy is alive and well, and that there is a missing little girl, there are new questions and a re-surfaced old question:
1. Who is the "new" Dylan? Surely they wouldn't do another stolen baby story?
2. What happened to the "old" Dylan? Paul is handy with a shovel -- was he living on Wisteria Lane 12 years ago?
3. If it wasn't from Katherine chopping her hubby up for firewood, what's with the gouge in the floor of the upstairs bedroom?

Excellent questions, and the most interesting new element they've added in a while. At this point I don't even have a guess as to the answers, but they've got me hooked.

I am getting REALLY tired of the "evil Kayla" theme though, she's just written as way too smart in the ways of the world for someone her age. Plus it stretches (at least my) credulity that both her husband and presumably the shrink never even seem to consider the possibility that Lynette is telling the truth. It just seems obvious that they're going to let this go on until it nearly breaks up her marriage (and/or causes legal troubles) before the girl's true nature becomes evident to all and she gets her just deserts. Or something similarly trite.

Andrew was pretty evil earlier, and look at him now. The only question is, will Lynette drive Kayla out of town and leave her at a gas station before she "turns"?

Is she supposed to be twelve? I thought she was more like nine.

Kayla must go. She is evil, but she is also irritating. So, did Lynette not even get a chance to tell Tom what Kayla said? About the boy and Penny? I would think she would tell him right away, but it sounded like he didn't want to hear it.

I loved what the women did to Edie, and it seems she might be thinking of moving to be closer to her son. I can't say as I'd miss her, but would like to see a real "fifth" friend move in.

I'm thinking the real Dylan is the one buried .

Well, Parker is ten, and she is older than Parker. I don't know how long before Lynette that Tom was with Kayla's mother, but I thought it was something like a year or so before they got married.

Oh, and major spoilers here at link for coming season:

So is this Dylan even Katherine's daughter? If not, who is?

The one buried where?

The one buried where?

In an episode a few weeks back, Katherine visited what appeared to be a grave in a forest. She sat next to it and started crying. This was before the episode where we found out that she and her husband are fighting and it looks like she kills him, so my original thought was that it was "original" Dylan. Then I thought it was Katherine's ex-husband. Now with the DNA test I have swung back to thinking it is "original" Dylan.

Did I call this or what? I hate it when I'm right about this sort of thing, it means the writers are getting lazy and predictable.

I hate it when I'm right about this sort of thing, it means the writers are getting lazy and predictable. Please remember that this thread is for discussion of last week's show (airing 11 May). Discussion of plot developments that happened last night (18 May) should be made on a thread for that show; they're considered spoilers here. This is not much of a spoiler but I'm just trying to head off the tide...

Some of us haven't found the time to watch last night's show yet...

Thanks!

You're right, sorry, I wasn't thinking of that.
