View Full Version : Can groups be enabled for transferred programs?

I tried to find an answer to this question in previous posts but there were *so* many hits I''m not sure what the current status is. I've been trying out transferring videos from my PC to my TiVo HD and noticed that the transfer videos did not end up in any kind of groups. Is there a way to enable groups for transferred content? Something that mirrors the folders on my PC would be ideal.

Use TiVo Desktop version 2.6.1, publish the video folders on the PC and select to have them auto transferred to the TiVo. They will then retain the folder identifications on the TiVo.

Okay, I've got some files transferring. Thanks for the info. It would be nice if this could be done from the TiVo side as well. Seems like such an obvious feature, it's really hard to understand why TiVo wouldn't have implemented it with group support from Day 1...
