Audio problem converting .TiVo to .mpg

I've tried DSD and TivoDecode to convert .TiVo to .mpg....
DVDs play with wierd audio on my standalone DVD. DSD disc is ok on Nero player but not on WMP and vice versa with TivoDecode.
Any ideas?
