New to Tivo, and having several issues with my HD Tivo...posting under separate threads, tho, to keep things manageable and start chipping away at the problems.
I'm trying to use Desktop 2.6.1 to transfer recordings from my HD Tivo to my Windows XP laptop. Straight forward enough.
I'm able to browse the recordings on the Tivo from Tivo Desktop, including all the metadata (length, size, how/why it was recorded, etc). I can "Pick Recordings to Transfer" no problem, and then click "Start Transfer".
The laptop attempts to transfer for about 30secs - 1 minute, and then gives up as "Some transfers have been interrupted." and I am left with a zero byte file on my laptop for the files it's attempted to transfer. I've tried multiple recordings, multiple times, and no love xferrring them.
Any clues how to troubleshoot this?? There's no logs or anything that I can see to help diagnose.

Laptop - Windows XP Pro, SP 2
Laptop Firewalls - off
Wireless G network for laptop and Tivo
Linksys wrt54g wireless router
