This show certainly has great Spidey action/fight sequences! All of the Green Goblin stuff was really well done and not just punch/kick.

But they are going through villains like chips n' dip. They just went straight to Harry as the Green Goblin... that surprised me. Even though he was taking the formula, I didn't expect them to go to the "obvious" person. Especially with the comics and movies going to Norman first, then Harry.

And next week Venom!

I also enjoyed the "Black Cat" cameo at the halloween party. And Liz's comment of "you can web me up anytime!" :D And the fact that Peter went as "himself." His Spidey self.

And one other thing I think is funny, I'm not sure I've mentioned it in the other Spidey threads, is the fact that when Pete is in his civvies, The tag on the back of his shirt is always sticking up. I've been watching out for it, and they animators have been really meticulous about that. :D

Yeah, I'm enjoying this 600mph run-through of the Spider-Man canon. They should hit issue #300 by the end of this season.

I'd like Season 2 to be Marvel Team-Up -- Spidey working with a different Marvel hero or group each week. :)

I'm still thinking "misdirection" on the "Harry as Green Goblin" bit.

I think this how they did the "Harry on drugs" story without using illegal drugs.

I recently re-watched the 1990's Spider-Man cartoon. This cartoon series seems to be moving at the same speed as the one from back then.

The stories and pacing remind me of the great late 60's (?) first SM Cartoon Series. It's been a while since I've watched any of those, but I'm sure the artwork was better back then.

I've really been enjoying this series, even more so than the 2004 MTV series. I think it is an interesting twist to tie Venom's origin in with Man-Wolf's.

As for the Harry on super-steroids story, I was really expecting Peter or Gwen to obtain a sample from one of the smashed vials so they could work on an antidote as an ongoing thread.

I hated that MTV series, for the most part. The 3D animation was weird.

It's on the Kids WB. In the Dallas area, it airs Saturdays at 9:30 AM (repeat) and 10 AM (new) on KDAF, channel 33. They've been running a new episode and a rerun back-to-back. I think this was episode #9.

It's on the CW network Saturday mornings. Check your listings, search for it on your TiVo.

There's only a few more episodes left on this run, I think. But they generally re-run those Saturday morning cartoons incessantly.
