A week ago or so I programmed the S3 to record a show called "Extreme Fisherman" scheduled for tonight, May 3, at 10PM on the Biography channel.
I was watching something else and saw that the red light was On and the LED display in the front said Extreme Fisherman. I flipped to the other tuner and saw it was on the Biography channel but another program was airing instead. (Kansas City SWAT.) The Guide listed Kansas City SWAT as airing as well, so sometime in the past week there must have been a scheduling change.
Shouldn't the Tivo have listed Extreme Fisherman as Not Being Recorded in the History Area and give the reason as "No Longer on the Guide"?
Why would it continue to record a show no longer listed in it's own Guide anymore?
Why would is say Extreme Fisherman when it had been removed from the Guide scheduling entirely?
The name Extreme Fisherman is listed in Now Playing, but it's really Kansas City SWAT, as the updated guide said.
Thank you-

I saw something similar to that last night. There was a last minute schedule change that moved coverage of a Nascar race from ESPN2 to Speed.
When I tuned into Speed to watch the race, I noticed that the other tuner was recording ESPN2, not Speed.
The only thing I could figure out is that the schedule change came after the race started recording...

Did you notice that the Guide indicated the NASCAR race had been moved to Speed?
I know two weeks ago Scrubs was originally scheduled to air on NBC at 9:30 but NBC changed it to 8:30 instead. I have a Season Pass to Scrubs and saw the 9:30 airing listed in the History area as Not Recording because it was no longer on the schedule. It had correctly change the recording to the 8:30 itself.
I did not have a Season Pass for Extreme Fisherman, but since the Guide no longer it listed as airing I would have thought the Tivo would list it as Not Recording because it's no longer in the Guide, as I've seen for others things when there were schedule changes. Maybe it doesn't operate this way if it's not a Season pass program?
Still, the LED's and Now Playing both listed Extreme Fisherman as the recorded show.
Makes me a little leery in trusting the recording schedule.

Yes, the guide said the race was on Speed and hoops on ESPN2. I've had Tivos for 5 years, and this is the first time I've seen this issue.
ETA:it should have been picked up on Speed as I have a Nascar Racing SP there as well as on ESPN2.

Funny, I was checking the To Do list and saw Extreme Fisherman listed to record again tomorrow night (May 10) although it is no longer anywhere in the Guide schedule.
I'll manually remove it, but shouldn't the Tivo be doing that itself?
