My own videos are forbidden?

I took some videos (AVI) on my camera while in asia last week.

Tivo is telling me I have insufficient rights to view them. I TOOK THEM.

There is the red circle with a slash on the menu, can't transfer them to tivo.

Anyone know a solution?

In this case, it really just means that it can't reencode them. The red circle is used as a catch-all for anything that can't be transferred.

You could try pyTivo, or another TiVo Desktop alternative. Or you could manually encode the file to MPEG-2 before you try to transfer it.
