Did PPV and HBO autodelete happen?

After much discussion in this forum about 24 hour autodelete on HBO and PPV movies did it happen or was it an unfounded rumore? my billing is through the phone company so I do not receive notices. Thanks

Well, there is nothing with HBO. The threads I saw on HBO had to do with cable, not DirecTV.

24 PPV is indeed in effect (24 hours from when you pay for it) but it doesn't apply to the DirecTivo receivers.

Thanks for your response. The threads were in the directv with tivo forum so I assumed they would apply to directv with tivo. thanks for clarifying it.

Yeah, I was wondering how that would affect those folks that used the zipper on their Directivo units which unencrypts the programs as a standard mpeg2 file.
