I just went from a comcast hddvr to a TIVO HD and now to get the same sound level output i have to put the sound to level 25 where it was that loud on the MOTO box at 20. The Tivo is hooked up the same way with HDMI. I know where was a way on the moto box to turn up the sound on the box instead of the tv, and i think that may be 1 reason, is there a way to do that with the tivo? I hope this doesnt sound too confusing. I dont mind having to put it at 25 but just making sure theres nothing wrong, any input is appreciated

There is no volume setting on the TiVo. I do notice wildly differing volume levels depending on channel, however.

I was actually just going to reply with that too. The volume seems to vary by channel...also did that with the moto box though
