Loss of sound when using the tv guide

I've had my TiVo HD hooked up to my Toshiba 47" LCD via HDMI cable for about 3 weeks. When I hit the guide button the sound goes out for a second, and it does the same thing when I hit the down arrow to scroll to the next page. Is this normal? I know it doesn't do that on either of my S2 TiVo's.

I've had that happen on my TiVo HD a few times. It's plugged into a receiver via HDMI and then to the 46" LCD (Samsung). Unfortunately it's only happened a couple of times since I've got this setup so I can't nail down what exactly is causing the temporary loss of the TiVo sound effects.

If your sound is only from the TV (not an AVR), then change the settings on the Tivo to "PCM" (not "DD"). This should fix it for you.
