View Full Version : Cannot see shows on PC

I've recently moved from an XP machine running desktop 2.3, to a Vista machine running 2.6.1.

I can transfer shows from the Tivo to the PC just fine, but when I try to pull up the PC is the list, I get "there are no shows available", I've ruled out the codec problem, as I can't even view shows I've transferred from the Tivo.

I've disabled the firewall, un-installed re-installed the software, made sure the MAK was correct, made sure protected storage was running.

Any ideas for me?

Same thing here... nobody at TiVo was able to help. I was told to just "wait 3 days" and the TiVo Desktop Plus and all features would "just start working".

Is this the same problem as in your other post or did the above solution work for you (can't see recordings in you PC folder)?

In another thread where the OP said his problem was basically that when he clicked on the Tivo desktop icon to run it on his Mac, nothing would happen, you responded by saying "same here." Fourteen minutes later you respond to a different Tivo desktop problem with a PC by saying "same thing here" again. These are two very different problems and you can't possibly have both. So I'd say the first step in solving your problem is to figure out what problem you have.
