TivoToGo Auto-Transfers and keep only recent episodes

I am trying to do what I thought would be a simple task for Tivo Desktop Plus, but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.

Here is what I am trying to do...
I would like the most recent episode (and only the most recent episode) of my favorite daily sports show to be automatically loaded on my iPod every morning when I leave for work. iTunes can sychronize a folder on PC with my iPod, so that part is not a problem. With Tivo Desktop Plus I can create an auto-transfer for my favorite sports show that will convert it to an iPod friendly format..great! Now, the problem is that when I create an auto-transfer it will transfer every episode (cool), but their is no way to have it remove the old episodes. I only want the most recent episode and to conserve disc space I want the old episodes removed. I feel that without this functionality the auto-transfer feature is worthless for daily recurring shows.

Am I missing something? Is what I am trying to do possible?

I'm glad auto transfers are working for you, not for me unless I restart the server or reboot.

Is what I am trying to do possible?Within Desktop Plus, probably not. But you could create a batch file to delete the file (after processing) then have it run automatically using DirMon2 (http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16318).
