I purchased tivo desktop plus yesterday and I have a couple questions. first, I have a HD tivo in my living room and series 2 in my bedroom. I’ve added a few movies to my desktop and the HD tivo sees the desktop PC correctly. The Series 2 in my bedroom does not show my desktop for some reason. If I choose the push to unit option it actually will push the content to both tivo’s. I’m just not sure how to make the desktop show on the series 2 unit.
Second, I’ve been ripping some of my DVD to Avi Divx format. I’m not sure where I can change the title of the file. On the tivo units I keep getting movie titles such as “VIDIO_DVD”. Where do I change this title to something more descrptive. It doesn’t seem to be under the file properties.
