Can someone in simple terms for us non computer techies explain how the web videos work with Desktop 2.6.1????? I have tried and tried some more to get the web videos on my TiVo to work. I have created season passes and deleted season passes and again recreated season passes. When I create a season pass does this show up in the Season Pass Manager and have episodes on the To Do List? I have not seen neither. However, when I delete a web video season pass I get a message that tells me it was removed from the season pass manager. I have restarted the TiVo and restarted the computer all with no luck to get the web videos to download. The TiVo sees that I have desktop plus because it shows me the list of videos available to download. I can have podcasts from iTunes sent to the TiVo from the destop. I get my weekly CNET download. When ever I create a season pass for a web video I get a message that tells me TIVO DESKTOP not the TiVo itself has not connected to the TiVo server in 24 hours. Does the desktop spftware talk via the internet to TiVo mothership to download the videos and convert them???? Will the TiVo Desktop logs tell me if the software is trying to connect to the mothership and cannot for some reason?
