I had a Drive in Tivo S2 crash completely. I tried doing an MFS Backup / Restore, but just kept getting GSOD; I gave up.
Used new drive and did MFS Restore of Backup from 2 years ago. Everything worked... except I am now running Tivo Software 7.x instead of 9.x.
I tried a Kick Start 51... but it didn't seem to have an effect.
Anyone know how I can get the Tivo to Upgrade the software?
