Direct TV Banner Behind Tivo's

Not sure if I'm in the correct section for this or not. But I have a stand alone Tivo and a Normal direct TV receiver. The direct TV banner about what show and stuff i'm on shows up behind the Tivo banner. I there any way to fix this?

I've searched the help section with no luck.

I experienced this problem (DTV channel banner showing behind TiVo channel banner when changing channels) when installing my FIL's standalone TiVo with DTV over the weekend...was never able to figure out why though. Would like to see the answer myself. My guess is that it has to do with the placement of the IR cables somehow, but that's a very uneducated guess, mind you, and could be totally unrelated.

This is basically the same as with a cablebox.

The directtv guide image is being sent from the box to the tivo with the program signal.

If you want to view the directtv screen, press clear on the tivo remote to make the tivo guide clear faster.

If you want the directtv guide not to show, or clear faster, you would have to change the settings (if available) on the directtv box.

For my cable box, the best option i have, is to set the cablebox to clear the guide after 3 or 5 seconds.
