Aside from the fact that my Series 2 Standalone Tivo is RIDICULOUSLY SLOW now, I have a serious issue that Tivo customer service cannot seem to correct.
Around April 7th, I noticed that there was no program info for the FX network. I had this problem about 6 months ago, but it was corrected with a restart. For me, FX is 248. When I choose channel 248 on the guide, it just says SAT (for the channel name), and there is no program info. Mind you, there is no signal problem with DirecTV - I DO RECEIVE the channel - I do get a signal when I manually input 2-4-8, ENTER; the Tivo simply does not recognize it, and there is no program info.
I also cannot scroll through the channels on the on-screen guide past 248 (I just get the "GONG" when trying to go past 248). I can, however input manually 2-4-9 (Comedy Central for me) and it will go to that channel, and I can continue to scroll from there.
After SEVERAL calls to customer service (and SEVERAL repeated Set-Up guides), the problem persists. I really think Tivo should credit me a month of service as MOST of my season passes are on this channel (Rescue Me, The Riches, Nip/Tuck, etc.), and now I have missed over a week of programs, and I still cannot get the Tivo box to recognize that FX is, in fact, coming in.
My Tivo has always been pretty faithful until now.
PLEASE HELP!
