Hi all,
I had an HR10-250 that had 2 250GB hard drives which I removed and would like to use as external hard drives.
With hard disc 2 mounted in an external USB enclosure I was able to get Vista to recognize it as a USB mass storage device with the correct size, and was able to initialise, give it a volume name and format it to NTFS. This was done in the Manage Program. Everything's fine.
If I try the same thing in the same enclosure with hard drive 1, it wont load drivers, can't name the volume or format it.
Is there something else I could try? I know the drive was working when I removed it.
