I noticed this on several shows recorded yesterday and last night.
The audio would stutter and pop. Anyone else, or is my beloved HDVR2 starting to die on me?

Sad to hear, Gunnyman. But if it only happened on your Sci-Fi recordings, it's mostly likely a problem with their feed. Have you observed the problem on any other recordings?

Nope just on SciFi, but my DTivo was frozen when I got up this morning. I had to force a reboot :(
On Friday's Battlestar Galactica I noticed several split second breaks in the audio. I'm using DirecTV.

Same here. At least it sounds like it's not my DirecTiVo then as I have never (or almost never) encountered this before on any channel.

I noticed it last night while watching the recording for Battlestar Galatica. I turned the Phillips DVR on this afternoon and was watching a few minutes of SCI-FI live and it was still doing the audio dropouts. They are only on the SCI-FI channel as far as I can tell. I switched to my Sony T60 and it is also having the audio dropouts on SCI-FI only.

Just had a reboot while watching Sci-Fi. First one since getting 6.3f.

I had stuttering audio on BSG from 4/11 and a spot or two of the picture freezing, but the audio continuing.

I had the same issue on BSG. I thought it was yet another HD going bad...I now suspect it was buggy software or D** is up to something.

I don't know if it may be related but, I had similar issues with BSG on Sci-Fi and with Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO HD on my TiVo HD (both times it was with a recorded show and not live TV; who watches live TV anymore? O_o).
Both times, I just hit the left button on the D-pad and then hit the select button to resume playback. That seemed to fix it.
