(or as the guide data calls it, Patent Pending)

Anyone watching this? It's a pretty fun show. They build a strange patent (so far I've seen Bicycle Lawnmower and Floating Tent), then they "bend" it (try to improve on the design). The floating campsite, complete with fire pit, mini golf, and horseshoes, was awesome.

It's on the Science Channel ( 284 on DirecTV ) Took a bit of searching, since I didn't have that channel visible TiVo searches came up empty.

Heh, those are old episodes, but fun.

Then again, they did play first in Canada (I believe they were Canadian produced), so we saw 'em here on Discovery. I don't think they did a second season, unfortunately - it was a fun show. History Canada has a similar show called "The Re-Inventors" which doesn't quite use patents, but older ideas...

Just gave this one a shot and umm these guys aren't that smart.

I watched the episode about trying to make the bike powered lawn mower. Before they even finished building their version I noticed a problem which they never touched on and as a result never got it to work.
