Can anybody translate what Carla and Turk were saying at the end that wasn't subtitled? I assume it was something about JD and Elliott getting back together.

Otherwise I really liked this episode. They seem to have really gotten back on track from where they were in season 5 and early season 6.

I loved the whole space invaders bit. Suck it, bitch!

This was easily the best show of NBC's line up tonight.

I was actually disappointed with it. How many times have they used the old "but I promised that nice patient he could leave the hospital early" bit? Seemed to me a very tired bit.

Loosely paraphrased

Turk: Like them: I bet you that within five weeks they (JD & Elliot) are back together again

Carla: You think? Some people aren't going to like that

Are you kidding me? Ergh. I'm one of those people. At this point, I'm well beyond tired of JD and Elliott.

Overall, this ep had some funny moments, but lack of Janitor and Dr. Cox hurts the show.

JD: "Up high!....Now down low!"
Turk: "I really don't like 'down low'"

Scrubs won't be back for me until Dr. Other-Becky is in lingerie!

I thought it was mediocre. I still like the show, but I think it has run its course. If this is the last season, I think that's fine.

It all just seems a little forced. I think if Zach Braff's movie career was a little stronger, the show would already have been stopped.

It was an OK episode. I did love the Space Invaders bit, though. :p

My question, I'm pretty sure towards the end of the episode they'd mentioned each being in serious relationships and how it affects them hanging out as friends? Please refresh my memory - is Elliot still with the hot doc she was supposed to marry? I've lost track. :o

She broke it off a few days before the wedding, I think.

And yeah, they really needed to do a "Previously on..." segment when coming back from a long break like this.

Ahh, thanks! That's what I thought, but wasn't positive. :)

I thought this show got canceled a long time ago.

IT was funny when he started that morality lesson at the end and i was thinking, Oh God no, here we go again, then he saw what's his name with the cake.

Space Invaders was an inspired bit. Brinner was decent. The rest was pretty mundane.

Have to agree. I loved "Space Invaders" (have to find it on YouTube and send a link to my buddy who was an arcade-fiend in the late '70s and '80s). But other than that I found a lot of the jokes so-so. "Brinner" was funny the first time, but they mentioned it another 8 or so. I miss "The Todd". I really didn't get Kelso's eating disorder or whatever that was supposed to be.

Nice to have it back, but it was just OK.

Dr. Cox and Janitor were there. It's The Todd that was missing.

It was pretty good. Better than some of the episodes that started this season (before the writers strike that is) but not fantastic.

The Kelso eating thing was apparently because a few episodes back he won free muffins for life at the CoffeeBucks store and since then he's packed on the pounds. Now Cox was looking out for him, and rather than being mad about it, Kelso was actually counting on it as a sort of forced diet. Once Cox realized he wasn't bugging Kelso, he was no longer interested.
