For years I've watched the Today Show. I don't know why I do it because those cackling hens get on my nerves. They always talk over each other and their guests. Now with Kathie Lee added to it, it's worse! I guess I'm in the market for a replacement.
What's your favorite morning show?

No time for a morning show. I wake up, get in the shower, get dressed, and head for the bus.

I have always watched the Today show except those few times I watched the Early Show to see the Survivor winner get the big check. A friend and colleague stopped watching the Today show not for the national talent, but because the local weatherman on the cut ins was so annoying. He switched over to CNN with Solidad O'Brien and is very pleased.
I still can't get enough Al Roker and his bad wordplay, and I'm out of the house waaaay before the 10:00 hour so KLG doesn't bother me a bit.

Morning Joe... nothing else comes close. But I watch a local report to get traffic for my commute. When I get into the car I switch to Washington Journal. I love how CSPAN let's insane callers speak without interupting.

Does Your Weather Today (http://www.weather.com/tv/programs/yourweathertoday.html) count as a morning show? Nicole Mitchell was at Sea World playing with Dolphins- and she made me 15min late this morning.

Malcolm in the middle, Angel or MASH depending on the episodes that are playing on the others.

Never seen a morning show, it's local news or the weather channel ( both Tivo'd first 15 minutes to get weather and traffic)

CNN News Headlines. Short and sweet. Though I do want to see Robin do some real tragidy live like 9/11. I suspect they would grab an anchor with more gravitas.

Can someone explain to me the need these shows have to send their weather person on remote and spend more time talking about the location where they are than they talk about the weather? I can't think of anything more mind numbing.
We have a Season Pass for the first two hours of the Today Show, and I think my wife watches some of it occasionally, but mostly just to see what's going on in the world and the occasional interesting story they highlight. Most days it gets recorded over without being watched at all.

The one that gets me is when they do stories about rising gas prices.
Do they report any reasons why? No.
Do they report any predictions as to future trends? Usually no.
Do they ask random people at a gas station whether they think prices are high? Yes.
Not pursuing the "talking to random people at gas stations" tangent, but geez, I can see rising gas prices as I drive into work. Why waste my time with a whole segment on that?
Favorite morning news used to be a local one(LA) with Lisa Joyner. But she left, so now it's a local one with Jessica Holmes.

I watch The Daily Show or Conan in the morning before I go to work. Morning "news" shows are too much fluff. If I'm forced to watch something, I prefer CNNHN with Robin Meade...

I watch the evening news with Brian Williams that I recorded from the previous day. It's news that's twelve hours old, but it's still better than having to deal with Ann Curry.

That's funny. At my house we can't figure out how she still has a job. And don't even get me started on her lack of interviewing skills when they let her out from behind the news desk.

I don't have HD, but my parents do. When I visit, that is our favorite morning show. Awesome HD pictures on in the background while you do other things.
At home, I listen to the local AM radio station that has news/weather/traffic/talk (670 KBOI)

World News Now. Doesn't count as a morning show technically, but others have mentioned non morning shows too.
I record it on my non-Tivo recorder (though usually have a repeating manual recording on my Tivo as a backup). Then I can FF through it quickly and watch even the interesting parts at 1.5x with sound.

I like when they mention that gas prices have broken another record. This is the same thing they said for the last four days straight.

American Morning on CNN. It was much better though when Soledad O'Brian and Miles O'Brian were the anchors. I especially don't care for the current male anchor who seems a bit pompous to me. Second choice would be Headline News.

I stopped watching American Morning when they replaced Soledad O'brien and Miles Obrien. I just can't stand their replacements. Now I'm watching Morning Joe, after a quick look at my local news for weather.

Any show w/morons standing outside holding signs... No!
Any show w/anchors or hosts interacting w/morons outside the studio... No!
Any show reading e-mailed opinions from morons about the day's big story... No!
Most mornings, I catch a little CNN Headline News while getting dressed. I can't really handle any of the others... ESPECIALLY stuff like Today/GMA/Early Show. Robin Meade is not a bad first person to see each morning.

And yet, I keep watching. I can't stand that Hoda is now Kathie Lee's little puppy side kick. Kathie Lee gets top billing and all she does is talk about herself and Hoda follows her every move. I gotta learn to change the channel.

I am proud to admit that I've watched Good Morning America during the week since I was in college - all the way back to David Hartman and Joan Lunden. Granted, most mornings I now "watch" via the radio (Philly channel broadcast or XM Take 5 later). My daughter and I listen together on the drive to school/work and usually find at least 1 story to discuss between ourselves during commercials, unless she's grabbing a few extra winks.
I admit that the current team of 4 could use some boosting, but I'm not sure if it's because of news or weather. I like Diane and Robin (liked Diane and Charlie way more) but I get annoyed when either of them are out and the newsguy gets to co-host.
