RIP Stanley Kamel - The actor who played Monk's Psychologist died yesterday. Sympathies for the family and no doubt, this will lead to some changes in future shows.

Stanley Kamel, well known for playing Dr. Charles Kroger on the hit series “Monk,” has died, Access Hollywood has learned.

Kamel was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home on Tuesday. He was 65.

The actor died of a heart attack, Access Hollywood reports.

Well, drat. I'm going to miss him. He was one of the high points of the show, despite low screen time.

RIP. I liked him on the show. Especially the show last season that focused on his son.

Through the seasons we have seen Monk make progress. Having to deal with this loss could help him deal with the loss of his wife Trudy. Interesting possibility.

Yes, I was very surprised to hear he was 65....didn't look it a bit. He will be sorely missed by viewers AND Adrian.

Wow! He will definitely be missed in that show - although he did not have as much air time as the others, he was a great part of Monk's OCD life :(
