Three of the hawt babes from Battlestar Galactica get a Jane Fonda makeover and transform into full-on Sixties kitsch mode for this GQ photoshoot. It's just another jarring piece of Katee Sackhoff's plan to remind us all she can be femme, plus another sign NBC/Universal will do anything to boost BSG in its final season. Mostly, though, it's a reminder of how self-mocking and retro Battlestar isn't, in spite of all the cheesy Jesus, fluffy prophecies and Bob Dylan epiphanies. I laughed when I saw Starbuck. She looks SO uncomfortable and out-of-place! Boomer looks good and is posing well, but it doesn't work for me either.

The only one who fits this quite well is Six! Her look/pose gets an A+ from me!

Agreed. I had to go read the article to find out that it's Tricia Helfer in the middle. Doesn't look like her at all. And Katee Sackhoff doesn't look good at all.

Didn't like the Barbarella look when it first came out in the 1960s, don't care much for it now.

If they had done this in the series, it would not be being cancelled. Why can't these people see the obvious. Especially on a cable channel where there is no issues with our stupid and unwanted FCC.

BSG wasn't canceled. It was ended by the creator/producers.

Looks to me like Starbuck and Six have painted super soakers, and Boomer has a painted airsoft.

I agree with the observation that it's obvious which of these women has modeling experience. Six's pose is wicked-awesome, the other two look like, "Meh, let's get this over with already."

The only thing the pic does for me is give me a chuckle. But, hey, laughter is good! That alone makes the pic worthy to exist! ;)
