Can I transfer Video to Series 2 without Sub

Hi all. Last year I transfered my lifetime sub from a series 2 to a new series 3. With this deal, they left service on my series 2 for one year. So now I'm only using my series 2 to watch home videos on my tv. I transfer them from my pc to my tivo. So when the 1 year of service expires, will I still be able to transfer videos to it without a subscription? And will I still be able to watch the videos that are already on it?

You will be able to watch videos already on it, but transfers will stop working.
