Tracy Ullman's State of the Union - 3/30/08

I love Tracey Ullman. I really do. I was a huge fan of hers back in the 80s.

But this premiere was just not good. Too many characters, not enough funny. I struggled through it and felt almost exhausted at the end. I could have bailed several times but I didn't because it was Tracey.

I'll give it one more chance tonight but if she doesn't get some funny going on I'll be gone.

I feel exactly the same. Huge Tracey fan, huge letdown. Will give it one more chance.

It looks, and sounds, a lot like Little Britain (http://imdb.com/title/tt0358856/). In the end it really wasn't funny. Hope it gets better.

I only kept with it because they presented it as passing through a single day, so I was encouraged that it'd be over soon as it got to afternoon and then evening.

It was so very disappointing compared with Tracey Takes On.

Tracy Ullman is a talented performer but this was a bore. I bailed about half way through.
