View Full Version : Tivo is Possessed
I'm having a problem with my S2DT tivo. I set up a season pass to record Idol Wrap on the TVGuide channel. After watching a few episodes, I canceled the season pass, but now it just keeps recording this show no matter what I do.
I went through my To Do List, My Season Passes and could find nothing. I ended up wiping all of my season passes out, rebooted the tivo, reset all my season passes and I now have 5 new episodes of Idol Wrap to watch.. 4 from the same day. Can someone please help or offer some suggestions? Thanks

It could be recording it as a Suggestion. You can tell as it will have an icon next to it that is different than what you would normally see (no circle, green circle, yellow circle w/ or w/o the exclamation mark).
If it's really driving you crazy you can always turn off Suggestions.

It has a green circle next to it, but I've checked Suggestions and that is already turned off. Thanks for the reply.

If you did a clear and delete everything from the menu and a seasons pass still records, then it sounds to me like that sector of the hard drive that contains that season pass can be read but not written to, this may be the beginnings of hard drive failure.

I didn't do a clear and delete, and I just changed this hard drive about 2 weeks ago :confused:
